Injection Moulding

BEST KNOW-HOW IN INJECTION MOULDING

Spritzgussmaschine   Plastic articles, which we manufacture via precision injection moulding, are the core of our product range. This is done exclusively in clean rooms that are classified according to applicable regulatory requirements, including DIN EN ISO 13485, DIN EN ISO 14644 and EG-GMP standards. Of course, validations will also be carried out according to these requirements.

Due to the diversity of our machinery and the qualification of our employees, both small series as well as larger campaigns up to 50 million pieces per year can be produced without compromising on the quality in a three-shift system. This is verified by the implementation of constant monitoring and continual quality checks.

Our qualified, experienced and trained employees are our most valuable asset for the production of reliable disposable syringes and other medical devices. Reliability is guaranteed through expert manufacture and regular periodic in-process controls.

Our machinery comprises hydraulic as well as fully electric injection-moulding machines with clamping forces of up to 2.500 kN; some of these machines are constructed for two-component injection moulding.

As a leading manufacturer of disposable syringes and customer-specific application systems for the medical and dental fields, we exclusively utilise top quality raw materials and components sourced from eminent international manufacturers and suppliers. This enables us to guarantee the optimal application safety of all products. It also remains a focus in our ongoing development: patient safety is paramount to the development and realisation of product innovations.

Our products are manufactured in class 100.000 / class D cleanrooms (EU GMP guideline), on a surface of more than 2.000 qm (more than 21’000 sq.ft.), in two- and three-crew shift systems. Our ventilation system guarantees 19 air changes per hour (ISO 8). Further areas are equipped with laminar flow systems, warranting an excellent production environment.

Through our continuous monitoring of the air quality, we can ensure that our production environment fulfills GMP requirements.

     

Modern injection-moulding machines (amongst them two-component machines) are used to produce, mostly integrated in fully automated production lines. Our printing and packaging lines are also set up inside cleanrooms.

Modernste Spritzgussmaschinen (darunter auch Zweikomponenten-Maschinen) produzieren hier, eingebunden in größtenteils vollautomatische Linien. Ebenfalls im Reinraumbereich befinden sich unsere Linien für Bedruckung, Verpackung und Konfektionierung.

FROM INJECTION-MOULDING UP TO THE FINISHED, STERILE ARTICLE
   

In our classified cleanrooms, we produce plastic devices by injection-moulding.

Packaging and Filling of these articles is performed in accordingly qualified rooms and by specially trained employees.

Prior to delivery, the articles can be sterilized with ethylene oxide (EO) in either of our sterilization chambers. We also offer contract sterilization where a customers sends us his good for sterilization only.

While injection-moulding is at the core of our production process, implementing the ensuing steps and developing stable subsequent processes is just as important. Amongst these subsequent processes are the siliconisation, printing, packaging and the like.

We also incorporate new procedures into our processes or develop such with our specialised partners. The focus, however, is on the product and on the customer’s specifications.

 

    
       

Therefore, Transcoject chooses the printing technique best suited to the relevant product, arranges adequate packaging automation and effective packing – for small series just as well as for large campaigns.

For siliconisation, our technology experts choose the best materials and application modes. We also dispose of a vast know-how in the domain of ultrasonic welding which offers added possibilities for product variations.

Werkzeugbau und Sondermaschinenbau   Quality products can be produced only on quality tools and moulds. That is why we venture to do everything in our power to fulfill our own standards regarding injection moulds and periphery automation and to guarantee best quality for our customers. In our in-house technics centre, our skilled personnel builds equipment from pilot moulds up to filling machines customised to customers’ needs. Such machinery, dedicated to your needs, is efficient, yet flexible.  
           
Periodic maintenance and diligent care for our equipment is indispensable for smooth production. Having our tool shop in close proximity to the production areas ensures that all moulds, Transcoject’s own or customer property, stay finely tuned. Thanks tot he modularity of our regular moulds, we dispose of an enormous flexibility.

Peripheral equipment needs periodic maintenance, too. Our specialists at the department forthe manufacture of special-purpose machinery know all regulating screws and parameters for any automation. This is valid for the equipment built in-house as well as for special machines purchased from third parties.
